1. Businesses established before July 1, 2015, may continue to use their existing seals without having to notify the business registration authority of the seal design. However, if a business creates additional seals or changes the ink color, it must follow the procedures for notifying the seal design as stipulated in the business registration regulations.
2. In cases where a business established before July 1, 2015, makes a new seal in accordance with the provisions of this Decree, it must return the old seal and the Seal Registration Certificate to the police agency that issued the Seal Registration Certificate. The police agency will issue a receipt acknowledging receipt of the returned seal from the business.
3. In cases where a business established before July 1, 2015, loses its seal or its Seal Registration Certificate, the business may have a new seal made in accordance with the provisions of this Decree; simultaneously, it must notify the police agency that issued the Seal Registration Certificate about the loss of the seal or the Seal Registration Certificate.
4. Businesses are responsible for notifying the business registration authority where the business is headquartered of the seal mẫu for public posting on the National Business Registration Portal in the following cases:
- Making a company seal for the first time after registering the business;
- Changes to the number, content, design of the seal, and ink color;
- Cancel the seal design.
5. The procedures and documentation for notifying the seal design shall comply with the regulations on business registration.
