From September 15, 2016, Decree 115/2016/ND-CP amending Decree 163/2013/ND-CP on administrative penalties for violations in the fields of chemicals, fertilizers, and industrial explosives came into effect.
Accordingly, regulations on administrative penalties for certain violations related to chemicals and insecticides/bactericides used in households and healthcare (hereinafter collectively referred to as chemicals) are added:
- Fines of up to 50 million VND will be imposed for violations of regulations on chemical trading.
- Fines of up to 3 million VND will be imposed for violations of regulations on the use of chemicals.
- A fine of up to 1 million VND will be imposed for violations of regulations on the transportation of chemicals.
- Fines of up to 40 million VND will be imposed for violations of regulations on chemical imports.
- Fines of up to 20 million VND will be imposed for violations of regulations on testing, labeling, and advertising of chemicals.
