On October 4, 2016, the Government issued Decree 139/2016/ND-CP regulating the rates of business license fees.
Accordingly, the new business license fee rates are as follows:
- For organizations engaged in the production and sale of goods and services:

- 3.000.000 VND/year for organizations with charter capital or investment capital exceeding 10 billion VND;
- 2.000.000 VND/year for organizations with charter capital or investment capital of 10 billion VND or less;
- 1.000.000 VND/year for branches, representative offices, business locations, non-profit organizations, and other economic organizations.
- For individuals, groups of individuals, and households engaged in the production and business of goods and services:

- 1.000.000 VND/year if revenue exceeds 500 million VND/year;
- 500.000 VND/year if revenue is between 300 million and 500 million VND/year;
- 300.000 VND/year if revenue is between 100 million and 300 million VND/year.
Decree 139 / 2016 / ND-CP takes effect from the date of 01 / 01 / 2017.
