According to the provisions of the 2014 Enterprise Law, if an enterprise wishes to resume business before the previously announced temporary suspension period, it must notify the business registration authority at least 15 days before resuming business.
However, to facilitate businesses, under the 2020 Enterprise Law, businesses wishing to resume operations before the registered temporary suspension period only need to notify the authorities. no later than 03 working days before resuming business operations ahead of the previously announced deadline.
2. Procedures for re-registering for business before the announced deadline.
To resume business before the announced suspension period expires, businesses need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Prepare documents
Prepare the necessary documents and paperwork in accordance with business law regulations regarding resuming business operations before the announced deadline.
Step 2: Submit the application to the Business Registration Authority.
Businesses or individuals/organizations authorized by the business can submit applications in the following ways:
- Submit directly to the Business Registration Office – Department of Planning and Investment.
- Submit through the National Business Registration Portal.
- Submit via postal service
Step 3: Receipt of application
The Business Registration Office will receive and review the business's application.
Step 4: Get the result
Within 03 working days from the date of receiving the application, the Business Registration Office will provide the approval result or a notification requesting additional information or amendments to the application to the enterprise.
