This is the content mentioned in the Resolution on the State Budget Estimates for 2017 (approved by the National Assembly on the afternoon of November 11, 2016).
Accordingly, the National Assembly has instructed the Government to increase the basic salary to VND 1.300.000 per month starting from July 1, 2017 (the current basic salary is VND 1.210.000 per month).
Therefore, in the near future, the Government will realize the above content by issuing a new Decree to replace Decree 47/2016/ND-CP regulating the basic salary level for officials, civil servants, public employees and the armed forces.
To implement this, the National Assembly requires ministries, central agencies, and local authorities to balance their budgets based on their allocated state budgets to allocate funds for increasing the basic salary in 2017.
