The fastest way to "close" a customer.

Customers are truly the hardest part of the meal. Persuading them and getting them to smile and agree to the deal is no easy task. Being cautious, tactful, observant, and showcasing your personality during negotiations will make it easiest for your customers to be swayed.

skills to close deals quickly

1. Be very careful and skillful.

Throughout the sales process, salespeople must be cautious and skillful. Only then can we reach the final step – completing the sale. The completion process begins the moment we present the product.

2. Right time

Start the closing process as early as possible. However, timing is key. The chances of closing the deal increase if you know when to do it. Observe the signals that indicate the buyer's readiness. For example:

– Changes in body language such as:

+ Look intently

+ Smile

+ Nod

They asked very relevant questions, like:

"When do I have to pay?"

"When will I receive my order?"

"Can I have this color?"

3. Carefully observe the customer's buying signals.

Try to finalize the transaction before the situation escalates, such as the customer becoming frustrated or distrustful. Signs of a potential purchase can manifest in various ways, but the most important are when they ask, "When will I receive the item?", or when they show curiosity about an item they previously wouldn't even consider.

4. Order Request

Ask guiding questions to the customer such as: "It's time we wrote an order form, ma'am!", or "Let's review the terms of the order now, shall we?".

5. Show yourself.

If a potential customer is having trouble making a decision, suggest they do what you want them to do. For example, "I'll install this system for you next Friday, okay?"

6. Focus on the benefits, not on analyzing the features.

Make sure the benefits are clear and genuinely relevant to customer expectations. The more measurable the benefits, the easier our goods will sell. For example, suggest, “If we proceed with the work today, I guarantee you will be satisfied with the value for your money!”

7. Benefits of exchange

Show them the benefits that both parties will gain after signing the sales contract. Say: “If you buy another dozen, we’re willing to give you a 15% discount. Shall we go with that?”

8. Give them choices so we can get the job done.

Say: "Which one do you want? Red or blue?"

9. Show willingness to compromise.

Give something in exchange for something else. Say, “I’ll deliver quickly, in return you agree to buy the item?”

10. Complete the task confidently.

Mention the important information they provided you, and then summarize the benefits.

Salespeople are not paid for talking to potential customers; they only get paid when they make a sale!
