According to the General Statistics Office, in April 2017, 2.274 businesses nationwide resumed operations, an increase of 75,7% compared to the previous month.
In total, during the first four months of the year, the whole country saw 39.580 newly registered businesses with a total registered capital of 369,6 trillion VND, an increase of 14% in the number of businesses and a 48,9% increase in registered capital compared to the same period in 2016.
Sectors and fields with an increase in the number of newly established businesses and registered capital in the first four months of this year compared to the same period last year include information and communication; real estate business; followed by education and training; employment services, tourism, machinery and equipment rental, and other support services…
According to data from the General Statistics Office, the number of businesses that completed dissolution procedures in the first four months of 2017 was 4.057, an increase of 7,9% compared to the same period last year (the increase in the same period of 2016 was 15,7%), of which 3.745 businesses had capital of less than 10 billion VND, accounting for 92,3%.
