According to statistics released by the General Department of Customs on January 18, 2017, Vietnam's export turnover in 2016 reached US$176,63 billion, of which 10 key export items brought in US$126,85 billion.
By the end of December 2016, Vietnam's total export turnover reached over 176,63 billion USD, an increase of 9%, equivalent to nearly 14,62 billion USD, compared to the same period in 2015.
According to calculations, 10 export product groups accounted for 71,8% of Vietnam's total export turnover in 2016.
Previously, in its 2016 year-end report, the Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that in 2016, 25 product categories achieved export turnover exceeding 1 billion USD, an increase.
